I know some cars have a 30/70 weight distribution, but can you think one worse?

J-swapped Civic hatches, probably.

Kinja'd!!!

Not that the owners of these things care about anything involving turning.

I’ve heard various numbers on air-cooled beetles, the worst of which is 25/75.

Is that supercharged? I hope it’s got a limited slip or is boost by gear or else it looks like it’ll torque steer into a crowd faster than a mustang.

Yep. If it’s manual, it may have an LSD. Not really sure about the exact specs of the build, though.

30/70 can be good for a dragster, or a DeltaWing.

An Eldorado should be similar if not worse.

The 1998 Cadillac Seville was something like 63% front.

60/40 isn’t too uncommon among ordinary front-wheel-drive sedans - I seem to recall the Lexus HS 250h (anyone remember that? anyone?) had a similar ratio, but I’m not sure where the hybrid batteries were in that case.

I don’t think the beetle could have been as bad as the Renault 4cv though, given the 4cv’s water cooled inline 4, vs. the beetle’s air cooled flat four.

It’s actually pretty close to ideal, for front wheel drive. You need to be able to maintain traction up hills, with a loaded trunk, etc. That’s one of the reasons so many early front drivers would throw the spare wheel in the engine bay.

Against the back seats, between the rear shock towers:

That’s a fairly typical location for hybrid batteries.

It certainly looks like it, unless you put a lot of weight in the truck bed. It reminds me of my sister’s bulldog when he was a puppy. His head was so massive that he had a heavy front end bias. When he ran, I always thought that he’d tip forward if he tried to stop too fast.

DeltaWing made some tight turns, and its specs showed a super rearward weight distribution :

Front/Rear Weight Distribution: 27% / 73%

(Note: I’m not implying the DeltaWing is a great car (it’s not), just the funky weight distribution still worked in a car that goes around corners.)

It’s not “bad” if the car is designed around such a weight distribution, that’s the fun part of vehicle dynamics.

It’s a Stratos. Of course it won’t run. Unless you drive it offroad then it will run forever.

It’s a mini van based pickup that’s 27 years old. It’s not particularly fast or safe. If that’s your idea of the greatest car ever made, you should probably buy it.

Isn’t it the coolest thing ever? I don’t care that it’s not fast and very obviously not safe, it’s a 1990's Luv truck!
